Year End Piano Recital

Vance was the only one of our kids this year that participated in the year end piano recital. We are proud of him for sticking with it! He switched teachers this year and is doing very well. This is his fourth year of taking lessons.

Country Reports

6th Grade Country Reports
Vance chose to do his report on Italy. (this is where I served my mission) He spent a lot of time putting it together and got an A+ on it. They give an oral report and then displayed them at the year end program at school.

6th Grade Science Camp

Every year at Hawthorne the 6th grade class goes to science camp at
the end of the school year. They went the last week in April. I went
with them as a chaperone.

I learned to shoot an arrow!!

Vance already knew - he was great!!

The Boys learn how to build a catapult.

They get to climb a 60 foot wall! (I did it too)

Easter 2009

Easter morning with the kids. I love still being
able to watch their surprised faces as the look
through their Easter Baskets at their treats. Matthew (8) who has to go through and sort everything out to see how much of everything he got. (Just to make sure it's fair). Lauren (5) who is just so happy about everything. I can hear her say "Ohhh! So cute!" Thanks mom!"
(She is a very polite child) And Vance is my organizer - he keeps after Matthew and tells him just how she should keep everything just right.

All dressed up and ready for church! It's a bright sun shiny day!!
